Dylan's Adventure

Hi Mr. Oakes. sorry I didn't email you our computer wasn't working I couldn't get to g mail.Anyway we went to a croc farm and I got to hold a baby crocodile.I am working on a power point presentation for the class to see with pictures. Mostly we have been swimming and snorkelling. When I went snorkelling I saw squid, puffer fish, fish that looked like Dolly off of Finding Nemo, lots of bright tropical fish and lobsters. Yesterday I went on a hobiecat which is a small catamaran. I have also been Kayaking and today we are going to the second largest reef in the world to snorkel. I may have broken my toe again so I will have to get it checked out when I return.
See you Wednesday.

Dylan Arrives in Mexico

Hi Class,
The first day of my vacation has been great. The pool is really big with a
fun waterslide and cliffs to jump off. At the beach by the ocean there is a
coral reef. If the weather is good tomorrow we might go snorkelling. Today
the weather was overcast. If it is overcast tomorrow we will probably go to
the Crococun Zoo. It has crocodiles and local animals. You can check it out
at www.crococunzoo.com. My brother sent pictures today to you and Mr. Lane.
I hope you received them. I will email in a few days.

Wild Kid of Lillooet

I am a wild kid and I am 19 years old and my name is Jason Borune. I ran away on February 15th 2008. I ran away because I am being hunted by a squad of highly trained military solders. I am currently at the mountains of Lillooet B.C. I brought with me a tracing device to tell me where my family is, a hunting knife, a machete, flint and steel, and hiking boots. In the mountains I live by my friend John, the only person I can trust, who lives in a cave, I live right beside him in a tree outside of the cave. I am our look out and he is the hunter. On day 16 in the forest, I spotted a cougar coming our way. I couldn’t wake John up, so the cougar did it for me. CHOMP! The cougar took a massive chunk out of John’s leg and arm. I eventually showed the cougar the door with the rifle. John didn’t wake up that day. The next day John woke up. On day 27 we heard a big bang. It was a gang of poachers. They didn’t even notice us well walking by to collect there kill. We followed the poachers and took them out in a swift kick. We followed the scent to the dying animal. We found it, it was a dying bare. We helped it heal and kept it as a pet. John already had a trained falcon. I wasn’t needed for look out anymore. I was now used to find the animal and the bear that would kill it and John would cook it. We would all get an equal share of the meat. Sometimes we would cook a steak. On day 32 John let the falcon go to find an animal and he hasn’t come back since. I am a wild kid and I am 19 years old and my name is Jason Borune.
