Silent Ball

We sometimes play silent ball before lunch or before we go home. You sit on your desk and catch and throw the balls without talking. If you miss or talk you have to sit down. Genna

Nick Moves and Guided Reading

Jake is Moving

Jake is moving to Nakusp next Friday. I am going to miss all my friends and I hope they miss me. Nakusp is a small town by the Okanagan. I know I will like my new home. I will come visit here sometimes. I’m also going to miss my radio show with Mr Oakes. I am moving to Nakusp.

GUIDED READING

It was 11.00 0clock I just came in from recess. I went to my guided reading class, little did I know we were interviewing Ms Destrake. Her group was reading about otters. These are some of the facts we found out about otters. They have lots of fur. They can swim really good. They can hold there breath under water for a long time, it is amazing. They need there fur to survive. People from all over the world came to help when a big oil spill happened. They had to get all the otters out of that area. The rescue center was too far to take the otters to, so they built a center where they were. We learned a lot about otters today.

She makes beautiful dream catchers. She knows many songs like Soldier Boy and Paddling South on Eagles Wings. Ms.Lemya7 lives in Lillooet and teaches Cayoosh Elementary School, and we all like her.

Cayoosh Kidz Team

CAYOOSH KIDZ RADIO
Every Tuesday at 3:30 Nikki and I go on the CHLS 100.5 FM radio. You can phone in and talk to us. You can also suggest songs to us. We put good songs on the air like Van Helen, Queen and ZZ top. We also read stories and poems. We tell jokes and do public service announcements. This last weeks joke was, “What do mice wear to gym days at school? Squeakers!” We hope you like the show and listen to it every week.

OUR CLASS ROCKS
Our class was working on our old book. We were just doing a paragraph about how we liked it. As we talked about in the old year we started the world map puzzle once again… It is a lot of fun though. Our class is a very hard working class. Thank-you for reading the blog.

Basketball

We did basket ball for gym today. It was a lot of fun we had to get past our teacher. Lots of people got caught by the teacher, but most people made it! I had a lot of fun in gym today.

Dodge Ball and Important People

Today’s blog writers are Emosa and Karen. We will be telling you about P.E. This is the first week back at school and we have been playing some hard core stuff, like extreme dodgeball.

The Most Important Person

The most important person to me is my dad. My Dad is great. He teaches me things he teaches me how to play baseball and golf, he even teaches me extra school stuff he teaches all sorts of things. My dad is always there for me. When I'm sad he makes me feel better when I'm nervous to do something he talks to me and makes me want to do it. I love my Dad and that’s why he’s the most important person to me. By.Emma

The Most Important Person

MY MOM

My mom is the most important person in my life. She is a nice mom.
She takes me to the water slides every year. She takes me shopping all the time.
My mom takes me to my hockey games out of town. She is a really good cook.
I like it when she plays board games with me. She takes me to the arcade in Kamloops. My whole family plays a game night every week. My mom is the most important person in my life.
