Today


Today we started out with some math we were doing our pretest. Then we went out to go play some baseball for P.E. It was fun!! Then we had recess. After that we marked our pretest so that we can take it home to practice for our actual test tomorrow. We watched a movie right after that. Some students that were in Mr. Oakes guided reading group made it. And this week my group gets to make a movie it is called Nerd Justice .I think it is going to be a good movie. So then we did guided reading then my group went to work on our movie that we are filming. Then we went out for lunch. Once we got inside we started working on our homework for the week. Then we worked on something about filming .D.A.R.E was next on our schedual.

Today is May 11, 2007. In the morning we were estimating the area of different kinds of shapes. After that we marked our tests on the book called Hatchet. Then we went to recess. When we came in we marked our human body test. After that we did guided reading and marked our homework.

Yesterday
Yesterday the class did many things. Our class had a sub teacher because Mr. Oakes went to Sk’il mountain school with Ms. Scallon’s class. The class did some math, for math we did perimeter and area. Also the whole class did a test and essay. The test and essay was about Hatchet for the last chapter. The essay we did on the back of the paper we did the test on. On the essay we had to write 7 sentences. The essay was what event that we thought was most exciting and interesting. We also had P.E , the class played baseball. We went to fine arts with Mrs. J, for fine arts we watched a video about music it was called listen up.

Today

Today is May 8, 2007. We started the day with math, we did a page on measuring perimeter. After that we wrote notes on Global warming, we went into groups to get even more ideas. Then we went to recess. After recess we continued brainstorming ideas about global warming, and then we wrote them on the board, we had to find the most important six ideas. After Mrs. Barth talked to us about our new subject in Reading Power called Transforming. Afterward we went to Guided Reading, in our group we did a sheet on a book we were reading about sports. When we came back we had to organize what we were writing about Hatchet. When we were done we could start writing. Then we drew a picture about something to do with the book we finished called Hatchet. Then we went to recess.

Today


After we came in from outside we started to do math. In math we did area and perimeter. After math we went out side for music Monday. On music Monday we sang a song called Our Song . After the class came in from outside the class started our homework package. In the homework package we have to do Spelling, L.A, and Writing and Reading for an hour each week. After that we went outside for recess. After we came in we did a hatchet test and it was out of 14.After the class did the hatchet test we did a writing organizer for hatchet. After that we did Guided Reading and one of the groups is working on a movie. After Guided Reading it was Lunch. After we came in from outside we marked the hatchet test. After that we went outside for P.E. In P.E we play a game of soft ball. After the game of soft ball we have D.A.R.E for the rest of the day.

Class Play

Today


Today after the class came in from outside we stared to work on our math. Some kids in our class went to Mrs.J’s room to do math and to work on their costumes for the play. After math the class is going to practice the assembly. After we finish practicing the assembly we are going to go outside for recesses. Some kinds at recesses play two square and some play on the playground because it is not so cold outside. After we same inside the class had get ready for the assembly. In the assembly our class is going to do the play How the Blackfoot People Came to Be and our class in going to is going to show the school our webpage. After the assembly the class going to mark the homework package, there is spelling, L.A writing and we have to do reading for an hour each week. Then we watched a movie about Global warming. After that we went outside for lunch. Then we came inside to eat our lunches. After lunch our class is going to go down to the recreational center to go swimming. After the class swam for an hour in the pool we walked back to the school. After the whole class got back from the recreational center we watched the rest of the global warming video. Then we recorded our class play.

Today

Today is May 3, 2007. First we did math, we learned about non-standard units. After we went to practice our class play called How The Land Of The Blackfoot People Came To Be. When we finished it we went to reading power, we did a page on infering then we read Carl Went Shopping. Then we went to recess. After recess we did a sheet about black bears. Then the people who didn’t finish assement finished it. Then we went to lunch recess. After we came in we let the grade fives in french from the other class watch our play and video. Then we went to library. Then we practiced the play one more time. And finally we went to the computer lab ,and that was our exciting day. We have also created a podcast today for CHLS.

Today And This Weekend

Today is Tuesday, May 01, 2007 this morning we had math. At 9:05am. In math we are working on geometry, at 9:50am we had social studies we did a test on natural resources. Then we came in from recess and did reading as a class we are still reading the book called hatchet. After that we practiced for the play that we are doing as a class we have lunch at 12:15.After lunch we have St’at’limc and french. At 1:40 we have reading we are reading Hatchet. After reading we have science in science we do nutrition Cross word puzzle. This weekend I am planning to go dirt biking with my friends. I might go to Tristan’s house and go dirt biking. I will also maybe go mountain biking at the BMX track. Tristan might come over on the weekend. That is today’s blog.
